About the Site

auspicious is the online portfolio of Japanese web designer, Shota Totsuka, a member of FICC inc. The site introduces his selected works and personal projects.

Profile

Shota Totsuka, 26 years old.
Born in Ibaraki, Japan in 1981. After graduated from Meiji Gakuin University with a degree in English Literature, he moved to the UK. Finished a foundation course, he entered master's course in International Journalism at Cardiff University.

During two-year-stay in the UK, he obtained comprehensive journalistic knowledge through the course, and also fostered his global understanding through cultural exchange. Moreover, "Online Journalism", one of the classes of the course, triggered his interest in webdesign.

After finished the course, he returned to Japan and entered Tokyo-based webdesign office, FICC inc.
